On Monday 22nd June, Canterbury Westland held their third 10:10:10 event at the Little Andromeda Theatre in central Christchurch.
This event was extremely well supported, with over a hundred people in attendance. That really is a HUGE amount of support from the wide photographic community in CHCH.
What an amazing line up we had, with a stunning array of work, talent and emotion on display. Ten speakers a delivered a mix of content, across a range of genres. With Tony Stewart as MC, each speaker had a strict minute to talk about their work (well, he tried!!).
Some it was about their journey in photography; others it was career highlights. Some chose their favourite images, while others outlined a particular genre / adventure. Between them all, we are truly blessed to have such creative and talented people in our midst.
We’d love to acknowledge and thank all our fabulous speakers: Sarah McGregor, Angela Eastwood, Paul Willyams, Clinton Lloyd, Peter Foulds, John Foster, Wendy Clarke, Stacey Cavalier, Euan Cameron & Glen Howey.
Glen and Sarah travelled especially from either end of the island, Stewart Nimmo from the West Coast and Mike White from Twizel. Incredible too, to be able to acknowledge Euan, who has been a member continuously for 51 years.
But a big thank you to all attendees who supported this. We couldn’t do it without you.
