Join us for a relaxed and creative evening of photography, inspiration, shooting and sharing at the beautiful Te Hemo Historic Villa in Rotorua.
Hosted by NZIPP Grand Master Tracey Scott, this is a chance to step inside an incredible location, hear the stories behind Tracey’s work, get your camera out and create something new – then finish the evening with dinner and a look at what everyone captured.
The Evening
4.00pm – Arrive & Settle In
Come along, catch up and get ready for a fun evening of photography.

Tracey will share a collection of images from throughout her photographic career, talking about her work, ideas and creative journey.
5.00pm – Explore Te Hemo Historic Villa
Take a tour through Tracey’s beautiful historic home and start scouting out interesting spaces, light and ideas for our shoot.
5.30pm – Shoot Off: Come Create Some Art!
Cameras out! Use the house, the light and the inspiration around you to create. Experiment, try something different and see what you can come up with.
7.00pm – Dinner
We’ll order dinner together via Uber Eats – pizza, Thai, Indian or whatever takes our fancy on the night. Dinner is self funded.
After Dinner – Show & Tell
Bring your laptop so we can finish the evening by sharing some of the images created during the shoot. No pressure and no competition – just a chance to see how differently everyone interpreted the same location.
What to Bring
Bring your camera, favourite lens/es and laptop. If there’s a piece of simple photography gear you’d like to experiment with, feel free to bring that along too.
Come ready to shoot, experiment, be inspired and enjoy a great evening with your fellow Wai/BOP photographers.
We’ll kick off at 4.00pm and carry on until late – we’d love to see you there!
It is free to attend you’ll just need to pay for your dinner. Please register so we know how many people are coming.
